 Welcome to the website of the Australian Model Power Boating Association Inc.

The AMPBA endeavours to encourage and promote the sport of model power boat racing in all its' branches.
To organise and control the sport within Australia.
To promote and recognise suitable classes of model power boats for competition.
To formulate and publish rules governing competition and measurement.
To organise,co-ordinate, settle conditions, fix dates and venues for running National Championships,
and to consider, as a final court of appeal, all protests under the AMPBA Competition Rules.

A President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer and two committee members are elected each year to oversee the running of the Association. You can contact any of the current office holders on the "Committee" page.

Kevin Morris from BMMC in Qld ran a 56 second heat time over 5 laps of oval racing at the Battle of the borders 2008.

Brett Ward From the Gold Coast Model Race Boat Club ran a 57 sec heat with his single engine C Hydro at the 2008 AMPBA Nationals.
