Pine Rivers Model Powerboat Club.
We're located at "Mick Hanfling Park", on Torrens Rd, Petrie.
The club was formed in July 2006 for electric racers to get together. We run social racing, and ran a successful race series during 2007. We held a "Trans-Tasman" event in 2006 with 5 racers from New Zealand in attendance. It was a great success and we look forward to more special events like it in the future.
Our boats are predominantly 12 cell monos and sport hydroplanes. Classes for 700 motors and open motors are run. The course is 200m per lap, so smaller than the standard nitro oval, but well suited to our electric boats.
