Guys,
Just a quick one to let you know we are running tomorrow, Sunday 01Aug10 at the Malaga pond. Corner of Beach Rd and Camboon from the usual commencement time of 1245.

The weather is looking good for the day so hopefully we will see some of you guys come out of the woodwork for a run.

Water levels will be up given the recent rains and as usual we should have excellent water conditions.

New bouys have been placed out on the course which are alot more visible, they will need to be tweaked position wise, but on the whole they are very well constructed (thanks Dave A). The new bouys are very boat friendly as was proved with 2 boats hitting them at speed (both mine) which resulted in nil sustained damage.

On a side note, the locks to all gates will be changed out shortly. This is due to the fact that we are currently aware of several individuals that have been running at the site that are no longer members of the club and or who have obtained a key by other means. Effectively the changing of the locks will be done to regain some form of control over the facility.

Once the locks have been changed, frequent members/attendees will be issued a key to access the site again.
